Orbit drafts. You decide. Orbit only publishes when you expressly approve.
1. Who we are
Orbit is operated by Woodlark Associates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Orbit helps founders and professionals prepare, review and publish LinkedIn content in their own voice.
Orbit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or authorised by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft Corporation.
2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an Orbit account, connecting your LinkedIn account, subscribing to Orbit, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Orbit on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company. You must be at least 18 years old to use Orbit.
3. What Orbit does
Orbit may:
- Create a voice profile based on information, posts, examples and preferences you provide
- Generate draft LinkedIn posts using AI
- Send draft posts to you for review
- Receive your instructions by WhatsApp, web app or another approved channel
- Publish approved posts to your LinkedIn account using LinkedIn's official API, where you have connected your account and authorised the relevant permissions
- Track basic performance and usage data where available and permitted
4. Human approval before publication
Orbit will not intentionally publish a LinkedIn post to your account unless you have given an express instruction to publish that specific post.
For WhatsApp approval, replying SEND means:
- You have reviewed the draft
- You approve the content for publication
- You instruct Orbit to publish that post to your connected LinkedIn account
- You accept responsibility for the content as if you had posted it yourself
Replying EDIT means you are requesting changes. Replying SKIP means the post should not be published.
We may introduce other approval methods, but any method used for LinkedIn publishing must require a clear user instruction before publication.
5. Your LinkedIn account and authorisation
To use LinkedIn publishing features, you must connect your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn's OAuth authorisation process.
You authorise Orbit to use the permissions you grant through LinkedIn only for the purpose of providing the Orbit service, including publishing posts that you approve.
You may disconnect LinkedIn from Orbit at any time. If you disconnect your LinkedIn account, Orbit will stop publishing to that account.
You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's User Agreement, Professional Community Policies, Developer Terms and any other LinkedIn rules that apply to your account and content.
6. What Orbit does not do
Orbit does not:
- Scrape LinkedIn
- Access other users' private LinkedIn data
- Automate likes, comments, follows, profile views, connection requests or direct messages
- Publish posts without your express approval
- Sell LinkedIn data
- Use browser extensions or unofficial methods to control LinkedIn
- Bypass LinkedIn's technical or platform restrictions
7. Your content
You retain ownership of your voice profile, writing samples you provide, drafts generated for you, edits you make, and final approved posts.
You grant Orbit a limited licence to process your content solely to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Orbit service.
You are responsible for reviewing all content before approval. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Orbit to create, approve or publish content that:
- Is false, misleading or deceptive
- Is defamatory
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Breaches confidentiality
- Unlawfully discriminates against, harasses or targets individuals
- Promotes spam or coordinated manipulation
- Breaches LinkedIn's terms, policies or platform rules
- Breaches applicable law or regulation
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.
9. Platform dependency
Orbit depends on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Stripe, AI providers, hosting providers and other third-party services.
LinkedIn may change, restrict, suspend or withdraw API access, permissions, functionality, review requirements or platform rules at any time.
We are not liable for loss caused by LinkedIn or another third-party platform changing, suspending or withdrawing access, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
Orbit is a monthly subscription service. Payments are processed by Stripe.
By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly payment. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds for partial months. If something goes wrong on our end, contact us and we'll sort it out.
11. Security
You must keep your Orbit account secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account data, including secure authentication, encrypted connections and restricted access controls.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your use creates legal, security, operational or platform risk
- LinkedIn or another provider requires us to restrict functionality
- Payment fails and remains unpaid
- Continuing to provide the service would expose Orbit to material risk
You may terminate your account at any time.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, Woodlark Associates Ltd is not liable for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or opportunity, loss arising from content you approve, indirect or consequential loss, or LinkedIn account restrictions arising from your use of LinkedIn or your content.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to Orbit in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update Orbit and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice where practical.
Continuing to use Orbit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
